Plan Now

Now in its ninth year and better than ever. Plan today to join us on March 24, 2018 for the CYM Pilgrimage. We hope to gather one thousand youth, young adults, and families as we walk the city streets of Wilmington with Bishop Malooly, carrying the Pilgrimage Cross from parish to parish. Plans include opening prayer and entertainment at 10:30 am by speaker and musician, Luke Spehar, stop by St. Francis Hospital for a special blessing of the patients, the chance to celebrate Reconciliation, to kneel before the Blessed Sacrament, experience the Stations of the Cross, and return to St. Elizabeth for 5:00 Mass.

Online Registration

Click the Register button to use the online system to register yourself, your family, or your entire group before March 15, 2018. You must be pre-registered to attend. Please have the names of those in your group handy as they are required for registration.

Priests who would like to assist with Reconciliation during lunch at St. Anthony Parish and/or available for closing Mass at St. Elizabeth Parish can click here to register online. Priests walking with their parish/school group should also be registered in the general registration for the event.

A limited number of scholarships are available. Please complete this form and submit it no later than March 1, 2018.

To Plan Your Participation

We have tried to make participating as easy as possible. A complete Pilgrimage Planning Guide (PPG) is available below or you can just print the pages you need. Included in this guide (and as seperate downloads) is the parking guide, general overview, information about our entertainer, a schedule, a map, the required Form B and more.

Service Project

All pilgrims are asked to bring towels, toiletries, socks, cleaning supplies, or hygiene items as part of our pilgrimage service component, assisting Catholic Charities which serves those who are less fortunate. Items will be collected upon arrival at St. Elizabeth Parish.

Cross Request

To start your Pilgrimage today, consider hosting the cross at your parish or school and use this resource packet to help think of prayers and activities. Use this link to make your request.

Special Guests

Be sure to check out our entertainer joining us this year. We'll be joined by Luke Spehar to help the youth of the Diocese of Wilmington celebrate their faith.

See the related pages below to check out all the great resources for this year's Pilgrimage. We have information on how to host the cross to a step by step guide for Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration.
