In the 1950s, Edward R. Murrow created a radio series, This I Believe, engaging people in writing, sharing, and discussing the core values that guide their daily lives. This program, including thousands of short statements of belief, written by people from all walks of life, was begun again by National Public Radio in 2005.

Now, in an effort to celebrate the Year for Priests, Catholic Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Wilmington invites young people and the adults called to serve them to submit your stories of gratitude for a priest who has inspired, challenged, or served you or your community. If you are a priest, we also invite you to submit an essay discussing your experience of priesthood.
