Follow Up Meetings set for Primary Youth Ministry Contacts

If you are the primary point of contact for Catholic Youth Ministry and you missed the Primary Contact Meeting on September 10th, please plan to attend one of the make up sessions. These sessions will be held Thursday, October 5th from 7 to 9 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Bear, DE and on Thursday, October 12th from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Joseph in Middletown, DE. It is essential that youth ministry contacts at all parishes be represented at one of these meetings to receive the CYM Policies and Guidelines and to join in the discussion of ongoing improvements to CYM programming. Please RSVP to CYM if you plan to attend.

World Youth Day Interest Meeting is October 2nd

The next international gathering of youth and young adults will be held in July 2008 in Australia. Catholic Youth Ministry has completed their research and now we need your input. If you are interested in taking a group of young people or young adults to WYD in 2008, please attend the interest meeting on Monday, October 2, 2006 at Holy Family in Newark, DE. The meeting begins at 7:00. Topics to be discussed include the length of the trip and potential costs. Please note, this meeting is not for interested youth or young adults. It is for potential group leaders who have an interest in helping to shape the pilgrimage. Please email CYM or call 302-658-3800 to let us know you will be attending.

Young People’s Training for Proclaiming the Word and being a Eucharistic Minister
