NEXUS and KOMMOTION Information Delivered

All Primary Contacts for Youth Ministry have been mailed the registration information for NEXUS and KOMMOTION. This information is also available online. KOMMOTION will be at Holy Cross parish in Dover on Saturday, March 17th and NEXUS will be held at St. Mark's High School on Sunday, March 18th. World Youth Day Plans Announced

Who's up for a long, long plane ride? World Youth Day 2008 will take place in Sydney, Australia in July 2008 and CYM has 25 seats reserved. Spaces will be filled on a first come-first served basis and the package includes your airfare, accommodations, service opportunities in New Zealand, and all the WYD fees. Seventy Fifth Anniversary Dinner set for April 26th at Riverfront

Mark your calendars now for the 75th Anniversary Dinner on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Read the Bishop's invitation to become a join in the celebration here. Ticket information and an online response card can be downloaded here or you can wait for your invitation to arrive in the mail. Recognize Your Adult Volunteers

The 2007 CYM Recognition Dinner will take place in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary celebration. To name your Volunteer of the Year or to make nominations for other awards, click here to download a brochure. There will not be a separate dinner this year and the recognitions will be made as part of the anniversary celebration. Think of it as two parties in one!

NCYC 07 Registration Now Open!
Join thousands of young people from all around the country in a celebration of faith as we gather in Columbus, OH for the National Catholic Youth Conference. Coaches Training: Two More Chances

All CYM Coaches must attend one face to face training every three years. Those who have been cleared to coach and have coached one season will not be eligible to be placed on a roster for a second season unless they have attended a Coaches Training. To register, visit the online registration site and click "Register for Events." Choose the date for the training you'd like to attend and complete the required information. The remaining dates for this year are 2/12/07, and 3/10/07. For more information, click here.

 

2007: The Year of Catechesis

Bishop Saltarelli has designated 2007 as the year of Catechesis. For an article from last week's Dialog, click here. For the Bishop's statement, click here. Either way, save October 27, 2007 as a special date on your calendar. That's when catechists from all around the diocese will be invited to a special Convocation to learn, pray, and celebrate their calling to spread the Good News!

 

Wanted: Via Crucis Participants

You are invited to be part of history! Sign up to participate in the annual reenactment of the Passion of our Lord, the Via Crucis (The Way of the Cross), sponsored by St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Wilmington. This annual Wilmington tradition brings together youth and young adults from dozens of high schools and colleges to present a pantomime production of key events in our salvation history.
