Pitcher and Basin Registration Open

Introducing Pitcher and Basin, a new program offered by the Office for Catholic Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Wilmington. This residential work camp experience runs from July 22-28, 2007 and provides those who are accepted into the program the chance to live out Christ’s call to serve others…right here at home! Working with Habitat for Humanity in Talbot County, MD, participants will build or repair homes for families in need. Those interested in participating in this program will need to complete an application packet and meet the eligibility requirements. NEXUS and KOMMOTION Registration Open

All Primary Contacts for Youth Ministry have been mailed the registration information for NEXUS and KOMMOTION. This information is also available online. KOMMOTION will be at Holy Cross parish in Dover on Saturday, March 17th and NEXUS will be held at St. Mark's High School on Sunday, March 18th. Seventy Fifth Anniversary: Be a Part of the Party in Pictures!

The planning committee is in the process of collecting pictures and memorabilia to display at the 75th Anniversary Dinner on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. If you have pictures of your days in the CYO or CYM, please consider letting us borrow them. Specifically, we're looking for pictures of Nexus, Kommotion, Ski Trips, Spelling Bees, Drama Plays, and other youth ministry events. Pictures of sporting events, while welcome, are not in short supply. Any memorabilia (programs, trophies, etc.) are also being collected. For more information, contact CYM. Theology on Tap Begins March 1st

Theology on Tap is an interactive program geared towards young adults—women and men in their twenties and thirties—single or married. If you’re interested in learning about and discussing issues concerning our faith in today’s world, in a casual atmosphere, then Theology on Tap is for you! All young adults are welcome to join us at Catherine Rooney's in Wilmington this Lent for a fantastic series of speakers. Recognize Your Adult Volunteers

The 2007 CYM Recognition Dinner will take place in conjunction with the 75th Anniversary celebration. To name your Volunteer of the Year or to make nominations for other awards, click here to download a brochure. There will not be a separate dinner this year and the recognitions will be made as part of the anniversary celebration. Think of it as two parties in one!

World Youth Day Plans Announced

NCYC 07 Registration Now Open!
Join thousands of young people from all around the country in a celebration of faith as we gather in Columbus, OH for the National Catholic Youth Conference. Coaches Training: Last Chance

All CYM Coaches must attend one face to face training every three years. Those who have been cleared to coach and have coached one season will not be eligible to be placed on a roster for a second season unless they have attended a Coaches Training. To register, visit the online registration site and click "Register for Events." Choose the date for the training you'd like to attend and complete the required information.
