Technology in Ministry

Miss Katie Koestner is nationally known as an expert in the area of the safe and responsible use of technology and technology applications.  She began her speaking career after becoming the victim of a date rape in college.  Katie has used this experience to develop expertise and provide assistance to others in managing risk and planning for safety in every venue.

Miss Koestner has been working for the last year with a team of diocesan educators to develop a diocesan-wide acceptable use policy to guide the work and the relationships which we use in education via technology.  This session will introduce teachers and leaders to the new policy, as well as the implications for the diocesan educational ministry.

Three hours of professional development credit will be given to teachers and administrators who attend this session.
