Plan Now

Now in its eighth year and better than ever. Plan today to join us on April 8, 2017 for the CYM Pilgrimage. We hope to gather one thousand youth, young adults, and families this year as we walk the city streets of Wilmington with Bishop Malooly, carrying the Pilgrimage Cross from parish to parish. Plans include opening prayer, entertainment by the dynamic and light-hearted speaker and musician, Cooper Ray, the chance to celebrate Reconciliation, to kneel before the Blessed Sacrament, experience the Stations of the Cross, and stop by St. Francis Hospital for a special blessing of the patients.

Online Registration

Click the Register button to use the online system to register yourself, your family, or your entire group before April 2, 2017. You must be pre-registered to attend. Please have the names of those in your group handy as they are required for registration.

Priests who would like to assist with Reconciliation during lunch at St. Anthony Parish can click here to register online.

A limited number of scholarships are available. Please complete this form and submit it no later than March 10, 2017.

To Plan Your Participation

We have tried to make participating as easy as possible. A complete Pilgrimage Planning Guide (PPG) is available below or you can just print the pages you need. Included in this guide (and as seperate downloads) is the parking guide, general overview, information about our entertainer, a schedule, a map, and more.

Service Project

All pilgrims are asked to bring travel size hygiene items, non-perishable food items, and/or socks as part of our pilgrimage service component, assisting the St. Patrick Center which serves the homeless and those who are less fortunate.

Cross Request

To start your Pilgrimage today, consider hosting the cross at your parish or school and this resource packet to help think of prayers and activities. Use this link to make your request.

Special Guests

Be sure to check out our entertainer joining us this year. We'll be joined by Cooper Ray to help the youth of the Diocese of Wilmington celebrate their faith.

Resources

See the related pages below to check out all the great resources for this year's Pilgrimage. We have information on how to host the cross to a step by step guide for Reconciliation and Eucharistic Adoration.
