CYM SPORTS ONLINE HELP FOR COACHES

Step One 

 Go to the CYM web page by clicking on the link below

 http://www.cdow.org/cymathletics.html

If you do not have a user name and password

 If you do not have a user name and password, click the word "here" in the first section.  This link will take you to a page to complete a request for a user name and password.  Make sure you choose “Adult Leader” in the account type window.  Your new user name and password will be sent to the email address you provided.

Check your email and write down your new user name and password. Keep this information in a safe place! You will need this information every time you log in. 

 Note: if you already have a user name and password and have forgotten it, there is a different link for that. Please do not request a new user name and password if you are already in the system.

 Note: you can not use the user name and password assigned to your child for the Adult Leader site. You must request one a new one.

Step Three

 Goto the Athletics page link http://www.cdow.org/cymathletics.html and click Online Registration (For All Users).  This link will take you to the Adult Leaders Menu page where you will enter your user name and password.

Step Four– Edit My Information

 The first time you log in, the Edit my information should appear.  . It is important that coaches (head and assistant) keep this information up to date. When finished, click Update. A summary page will follow.

Step Five (for Head Coaches)

 Click the My Teams link at the top of the page.  Instructions are visible if you scroll down the page. Head Coaches will see all teams for which they are listed as Head Coach.  As Head Coach, you have the ability to build and/or edit rosters by following the posted instructions. 

 Note: If your team is not showing, please be patient as we are working on setting up teams for head coaches.  If two days following your coaches meeting your team is still not showing, please contact the Athletic Association President for your parish/school..

 Note – Assistant coaches will not see teams listed under the “My Teams List” and do not have the ability to build and/or edit team rosters.

Step Six – Online Directory

 You will see an Online Directory link at the top of the page.  The Online Directory is the primary means for you as coach to obtain the names and contact information for head and assistant coaches of other teams.  This site provides you the ability to search for by category (head coaches, assistant coach, athletic director), by parish, by sport and by season.  This will assist in narrowing the search field to locate the individual or groups.  Please keep in mind that CYM no longer sends out coach’s lists by mail/email or gives out coach’s information over the telephone.
